This would be great! I have wanted Minecraft VR for a long time, but the only 2 VR things I have are the Playstation, and the Oculus Quest. Both would work, but I would prefer to have it on the Oculus Quest because then it would be wireless, and also it could have full Room Scale support! I can't wait!
Honestly, I'd love if they made it for the quest. I mean its perfect, no wires, peacefully quiet, and a good experience. There is so much good that could happen, but so much bad if it doesn't. I'd really love if they did this.
Can we get an update its been over a year with just silence?
I'd be happy as long as it doesn't use oculus link, if it does i'll be mad cause my pc isn't vr compatable
I'm not sure if this has been said (I'm not going to read all 960 comments, sorry) but I had Minecraft on my Oculus Gear. I'm sure things have changed since then, but so have mobile devices. The fact that there isn't ANY version of Minecraft playable on Quest is really, really disappointing. This feels like one if those things that Mojang would have figured out if it hadn't been bought up. They have no reason (financially) to invest in another free product it seems.
This would be the best if it came on the quest. Just. Imagine Minecraft in Vr with now wires.
We need this!
This would only work if it tracked your position
So that the camera didn't get separated from the player causing disorientation which the vivecraft mod does but the official win 10 vr does not. It would also be important to black the screen out when the player is looking through blocks to prevent easy x-ray, which again, vivecraft does, but the official win 10 edition vr does not.Minecraft is the best game on the market as far as I am concerned. As a Grandmother I find it allows so many options to learn and build and fun game play for all my family. That is a lot of new players on the Quest. It would bring so many more people to the Oculus Quest if it were playable on the Quest. I can't wait to have it available if at all possible. I would even pay for it again to have access to it.
Thanks
lets get this to 10000 votes
"I Agree"
Being able to visit my Minecraft builds and play in VR would be amazing. Right now people are just sideloading the Gear VR version but if we could get an official version for the quest it would be awesome. Oculus has one of the biggest user-bases for VR right now as well so there is bound to be a market for it on the Oculus store.
I really hope this happens. The VR mod for the Java version shows how great and intuitive Touch controls can be for Minecraft. Judging by the Rift version, getting this game running smoothly has proven tough, though. I desperately want this, but the Oculus version runs and controls so poorly, I don't have a ton of confidence the necessary effort will be put in the port. I'd like to be wrong about that.
I am a huge fan of Minecraft, and playing it in VR with no cords would make it so much fun! Like imagine fighting the ender dragon in vr with no cords!
I would really like this on Quest. The fact that it's PC-Free would be so awesome, imagine going into a field and walking around, like you're playing Minecraft in real life. I'm surprised this doesn't have more votes, pls vote!
will their ever be any more news on this
Majong, you guys are missing out on an opportunity here. First of all, you guys should know that there could be a lot of money involved if this thing would happen. I’m talking a good few millions if not more, and who doesn't want a million dollars. Next, the benefit with this. A lot of people ( like myself) can’t afford a gaming PC to play the rift version, and they don’t want to side load a version that can’t use the touch controllers, what’s the point if you can’t use them. Also, if I may, the fact that you brought a mobile version out to the field and not put it on the quest is just baffling. I would have way more fun in 6 DOF with touch controllers than 3 DOF with a Xbox controller. Where is the immersion in that. It’s not like the quest isn’t able to run Minecraft, just look at the quest store. There are some graphic hard games on there. One more thing, nobody can really say how many people are into Minecraft and this could bring the popularity even higher. A few years ago, most people thought Minecraft was just another boring game that has no purpose, but throughout the years that idea changed. Now almost everyone that said that Minecraft sucked is now playing it as you read this. And by putting it in the quest will show the many other people that this game can be more than just place and pick up. Minecraft is in everything else, what one more thing can do except give you guys money and others happiness.
If you're gonna add Minecraft VR on the oculus quest then I'm telling you you're gonna get that cash (as if you aren't getting a lot)
Minecraft runs well on one of my very old Samsung galaxy duos(first version) so it should work well with oculus quest. The oculus quest is strong enough to play beat saber and minecraft is a game that has amazing graphics that work on weak devices. Plus I don't want to invest a lot of money on the rift S, gtx 1050ti. The quest would be worth it if it gets minecraft bedrock or java edition.
Make Java and bedrock on it
It has over 10,000 votes! We have to get this!
I would love to see the game come to Quest as long as it runs using the bedrock platform so it is cross-platform with other devices.
It would be a really good experience on a VR headset with no wires. Plus Mojang would get many more buyers and Minecraft could be a game which can suit any players need, like if they have a PC, console, or VR headset. It already has over 10 thousand votes. Plus not many people have the money to get a whole rift system plus a gaming PC that can support it. If this happens, it would be like your inside the game itself.
People don’t know about this feedback option I only just found out about this we need to get the word out 100%

Anything new? It’s June of 2020 the last post was September.
Tell us something
I believe that Minecraft on the Oculus Quest would bring a new level of immersion and bring even more players to the game.
PLEASSSSSSSSSSE
