Portal blocks

You put 1 portal block in your house and you place the other one somewhere else and you can have multiple just choose the location

    What if you were forced to create 2 at the same time. The 2 that are created are linked. Would have to make multiples for multiple locations, and give them a title on the anvil to determine where they go. Personally, I would title them with coordinates so I know where I'm going on the map.

    Granted, I play a lot in creative mode. But I use command blocks with teleport commands to connect my locations to a central transportation center (along with rail lines when I want the scenic route).

    This is why we have the nether and ice roads. I understand the idea and why it is appealing but it would simply make slime flying machines and nether hubs obsolete. Instead of transporting players it could transport items if fed with a hopper? I feel like to many of these though would cause to much lag. Its an interesting idea though.

    yes, because for map creator is would be nice to be able to teleport people
