Currently, the Villager Gossip mechanic uses a 5-gossip threshold to trigger Gossip Events, with each Gossip adding 1 to the Gossip Count. This is negatively impacting Iron Golem farms, as triggering this event is now a bottleneck that limits Iron Golem spawning. I believe this bottleneck could be resolved by replacing the 5-gossip threshold with a variable threshold based on the Mastery level of the Villager, and increasing the rate at which high-Mastery Villagers spread Gossip.
If we look at spawning Iron Golems with this suggestion, we could expect Master Villagers who Gossip with each other once to spawn an Iron Golem, whereas we could expect two Novice Villagers to require 5+ Gossips to spawn an Iron Golem. This promotes player interaction with the Villagers, and rewards players who are able to nurture and grow a Village. It also makes sense from a logic perspective, as high-Mastery Villagers could be seen as being "smarter" than their Novice counterparts.
