Silverfish now can nest in any type of stone.
A new variant: This silverfish has legs. It can infest gravel, and it loves water. It can be found on sea floors, and hiding in kelp. It preys on any type of fish. It has the same amount of health and deals the same amount of damage that a silverfish does.
If silverfish are killed, they have a chance of dropping silver, and farming them can make a source of silver.
Silverfish seek out silver deposits and infest blocks around it. Silverfish also hate light.
Silverfish infest blocks and over time some areas may become infestations. Infestations are small (40 blocks) and do not reach the surface. Infestations are full of silver, diorite, mushrooms and nest. Silverfish pour into caves, and can cause mines to become overrun, and some may even make their way to the surface. Farming can be a good source of silver.
Silverfish and their variant are both afraid of light, so if a mine is lit up a infestation can be stopped.
Nest block: a black block that silverfish (and variants) climb out of. These blocks are the infestation’s source. When silverfish infest a large area of stone, some blocks may become nest.
Silverfish now spawn in patches near bedrock, making diamonds harder to get.
Silverfish infesting mines can be potentially deadly and it adds a new challenge to caves.
