Exactly.  There is an inverse relationship between the amount of politics in the game and the freedom and creativity of the players.  Voted.

I I see your point but we should NOT have blood and gore. This is Minecraft, not fortnight!

    Lies, lies, lies!!

Minecraft said they won’t add sharks because they already have enough realistic animals in game, they are now only accepting fantasy spinoffs of realistic animals or pure fantasy animals. Dolphin riding could be rendered useless by the Mojang staff because we already have boats. And, it’s animal abuse. Overuse Of animal abuse will stack up and push Minecraft out of its age rating, making it more frowned upon parents.

And, gore and blood in Minecraft.. Its just messed up. Even a former Mojang staff member said that “Some games can be more fun without gore.” And, this will drastically increase the current age rating of Minecraft, possibly a 17 because of how mature it is!

Adding endangered species would bring more attention to the real endangered species. Make it an add on and donate the money to a wildlife charity.

While I agree that considering the idea of riding dolphins encourages "animal abuse" in the same game that has an achievement for riding a pig off a cliff is ridiculous it isn't really needed because of boats. And to be honest minecraft needs to tone down the "real life" animals and focus more on fantasy type of stuff. They're main reasons for refusing the sharks is a bit petty though in my opinion.

    gore is definitely a no

    Developer logic:

Polar bear- most often aggressive, as it is aggressive whenever it's young is around

    Spider- aggressive at night

Wolves/Dolphins/Bees/Goats/lamas/pandas- mostly harmless, dangerous if you attack them

Bees- harmless if you just approach/hang around their hive (not in real life)

Hoglin- literally just a wild boar.

Goat- will occasionally kill you just because

Fox/Ocelot/Cow/Horse/Squid- completely harmless (in real life, especially in the wild, they can and will kill you if you get too close, let alone hurt them)

    "We love adding endangered animals"

And yet sharks, a misunderstood, endangered animal which kill less people than lightning strikes, (and bites less people in a year than people in New York do in a day) can't be added as a neutral mob.

Seriously, I'm not saying add sharks, (I'll put that here, please add sharks) but maybe rethink your criteria for adding a mob.

Dugongs, whales, seals, marine iguanas, tunas, belugas, narwhals, manta rays, and sharks, all are endangered, and they could all have made it. Whales would have been awesome, and tuna are surprisingly huge, not to mention all the other mobs that did not get added. Also going to point out rhinos and elephants, which are likely not going to make it into the savannah update when it comes.

Having villagers in the game doesn't encourage murder. You can kill any mob in this game. Having rideable dolphins gives the idea that it's an encouraged and an acceptable thing to do. Should they add riding mechanics to all mobs? Of course not

Riding dolphins is cruelty and riding pigs is not?
