Realms payment options (pay once only)

I know many of you are thinking ( YOU IDIOT! DON'T YOU KNOW THAT IT COSTS MONEY TO HOST REALMS FOR THE DEVELOPERS!) take it easy, that's not what I'm thinking, I think a good compromise would be to have a single payment (of $10-$20 depending on how much it costs developers) would be easier on users to only pay once and not constantly be bombarded by having it only for a specific time. It might not be the best Idea but I'm completely fine if they don't.

    10-20 dollars for a realm to last all time is hardly a good compromise. The 6 month subscription is more than that, let alone one that lasts forever. If you could buy a realm for all time, it would be something ridiculous, probably hundred(s) of dollars.
