    While I do think some of the mobs (notable the ripper) are a bit to insane/creepy for a kid's game, this is the update that the nether needs. If I were to rework the mobs, I'd have them be new variations of old mobs (the ripper could be a Grimm reaper like skellington for instance)

    This is a great idea! I believe nether biomes would add a great deal of variety to the nether, and make it an extremely cool place to build a base or live

    I really like everything but the ripper and the soul combat. That part is a bit much and will put a lot of unnecessary work on the devs shoulders. The bottled souls are cool and the soul mobs but having the soul combat ruins it for me. But overall great ideas and textures

    This is a good idea, but I am afraid it would disturb some children and possibly up the rating of Minecraft to a T OR A M mostly because of its disturbing features that might scare someone and leave a bad review But besides from that... This is an actually a Really great idea!

    Interesting idea, but I'd like to offer some criticism:
    - Spoul Ghouls are too powerful, and their abilities, plus the slowing effects of Soul Sand, would make players entirely unable to defend themselves or escape.
    - Angry Souls shouldn't be able to jumpscare players, as it would likely result in loss of players who are sensitive to jumpscares.
    - The Spirit mechanic has way too sharp of a learning curve, and should probably be simplified into a status effect, similar to a mix of spectator and survival. Not only are the aspects of hosts, preservation, and soul health complicated to learn, but the fact they're introduced with a hostile mob makes it so much worse, since you would have to learn fast or risk losing your stuff.
    - I do think the ability to turn mobs into a statue with the Soul Scythe is an interesting touch, though being able to apply behaviors through souls would likely clutter the game's code.
    Lastly, something I would like to suggest to add onto Cursed Chests is perhaps when they're locked, they should be harder to break.

    This idea is absolutely amazing! It should be added into Minecraft NO QUESTION. But I do have some small suggestions...

    1) Rippers should ALWAYS drop a claw. If you can defeat a ripper, you’ve earned it!

    2) Rippers should be more rare. They are kind of OP, so maybe they should JUST spawn in catacombs

    3) Wither skeletons should spawn in the soul wastes! The biome fits them perfectly, and they shouldn’t be limited to fortresses!

    4) Moodoom: the soul wastes equivalent of a mooshroom! It could spawn just as a joke! Because who wouldn’t want a demonic fungus-infected bovine beast jump-scaring them?

    5) If a mob is possessed by something else’s soul, it should get glowing “herobrine eyes”, just so you know what mobs are possessed.

    6) Wither roses should grow in the soul wastes! Just to add more diversity and, uh... plant life to the biome!

    7) spirits should become instantly nice if you manage to remake one “Kasper” just to add more name tag references into the game!

    8) Ghasts should be able to eat spirits to gain special buffs (phasing, wither fireballs) because ghasts look like spirits so they should be somehow related.

     

    If you have all of these ideas, that’s fine. These were just my ideas for additions to an already amazing concept! Voted!

    You went all out, hope this gets added. But the only problem is, what about the other parts of the nether and this would be getting alot of stuff designated to one biome
