Radioactivity

Perhaps you could make all the elements that are supposed to be radioactive radioactive.

    in order for the developers to add this to the game though, they would have to add the radioactive elements into the game including any element with atomic number >83, promethium and Technetium.

    And they would also probably have to add a radiation item.

    The radiation and sources could be treated like light in the game except invisible, damage dealing, and able to effect some heavy elements in a process of nuclear transmutation.
