Please allow us to use Andesite, Granite, and Diorite to make Stone Tools.

    Hey, this is a good idea.  It could use some art though.  I made this for no real reason except because I can, so here you go.  If you wanna use it just credit me please.

    I would like this too, the same for other blocks like a furnace. When I started a new world I had a lot of andesite around me, but no regular stone. Eventually, you can get stone from other places or dig a little deeper, but I think you should just be able to use them as a crafting ingredient. would make it more useful and beginner proof as well.

    I think with the nether update, it'd be nice to see basalt being able to be used to craft stone tools as well, which would be useful for "start in the nether" survival challenges.

    Turns out that IRL, these three rocks are the ones most commonly used for stone tools!

    So in the spirit of archaeology, it would only make sense...

    Now that we have deepslate which can be used to create stone tools, I think this would only be fitting. In general these stone types should have more or less full parity with stone and deepslate, such as also having ore variants of it.
