Giant Caverns Update

For the longest time, I've played minecraft and noticed... other than ravines, do we have giant open caves? No. And I'm not talking about the little rooms, that are like 5 blocks high. I believe it should be part of the game to walk into a giant cavernous room, kind of like how the nether is, about 10-20 blocks high. Caves have needed an update for a while and I think this will make it more unique and more adventurous.
