Alternative Gameplay Loop (RPG)
What: I would like to be able to find endgame gear like the gear found in the end cities in new overworld dungeons. I would also like more blatant RPG like quests.
How: I would like to be able to stumble upon large stronghold/woodland mansion-like dungeons on the surface of my Minecraft world. I would like these dungeons to be procedurally generated to keep them random and interesting every time. I want there to be multiple types like biome specific or difficulty based and for them to be visually distinct. For example, a castle-like dungeon in the desert would look significantly different from a castle-like dungeon in the extreme hills. I would like to see the basic green coat villagers and brown coat villagers in the 1.14 update to be utilized for more specific/spelled out quests unlike the implied quests of villager trading. I would also like them to give more resource-oriented rewards like 32 (biome specific) Logs or 10 iron ingots.
Why: This would give Minecraft an alternative gameplay loop. Rather than having to go mining to obtain resources like iron, diamonds, or obsidian these resources would be obtainable through more RPG focused gameplay features like dungeons and quests. Of course the more valuable the resource the more difficult the dungeon or quest. This would give players an alternative option to mining and foraging.
