Fire Sight Potion

Since you can’t see that well when you’re swimming in lava, why not make a potion that allows you to do so.

 

Fire Sight Potion

Ingredients: 1 Potion of Night Vision with 1 Magma Cream

More Info: This potion will not protect you against lava or fire sadly.

    Maybe this should just be a part of the respiration helmet enchantment

    Oh, that makes a lot more sense. You should make it to where a respiration helmet helps the player see under lava. You came up with it and I won't take it.

    A wonderful idea! To make things more convenient I thought of the same thing, however instead of night vision + magma cream, how about crimson fungi, they are less useful than their sibling warped fungi

    It would be better if it was called lava vision potion,because it was brewed from the night vision potion.As it was brewed from the night vision potion,it only made sense that the potion that came from it also had the word vision,not sight,or else it might sound weird.Fire should be replaced with lava as the purpose of this potion is supposed to let you see under lava,thus the potion should be called lava vision potion.

    Possibly, just like night vision, it could be brewed by a fire resistance potion, then a golden carrot?

    I really like this idea. I think it will revolutionize lava biomes by making people be able to see in them, while swimming by using the fire resistance potion. It could pave the way towards specialty lava biomes, like how there's special water biomes, except this could be much more interesting, with different ways of developing it and not being confined to what it is in reality (like how the water biomes have to imitate real water biomes). It could make creatures like a lava version of a Drowned (maybe a Burned or a Scald? I might suggest this in a different post), plus different lava neutral mobs, like a lava fish. It could make specific lava biomes, like maybe plants that live under lava, special ores and rock under lava that could lead to further potions or armor/tools/weapons with special abilities, and even possibly volcanos (even if they don't erupt). Specifically, these things could be ultra-special, seeing as how it would be hard to get both potions so you can operate under lava, making these resources very coveted. All this needs a potion like a lava vision, though. As of now, you can't see a thing while in lava, which would render all this useless, if it happens.

    I wouldn't change anything about this, except maybe that instead of Magma Cream, it could be made with something more special, like a blaze rod or a Crimson Fungi, as suggested earlier. Magma Cream is already used in another potion.
