    I agree with this feature purposes. It would definitely help with wood and stone collection automation

    Maybe The dispenser with pickaxe / axe / shovel / hoe need more times to destroy some kinds of blocks.And it can also fish with fishing rod.By the way,the enchantments are effective when dispenser using enchanted tools.

    Also, maybe with this in place, they can finally patch the TNT dup exploit that so many depend on that they can't patch it in current state...

    The "penalty" of using this method of automatically break blocks is of course that mending won't work so you'll use the tools until they break. I'm fine with enchantments not working since it seems more of a user-related feature anyway and might make it too OP.

    I voted for this even though I don't fully agree.  I just want sheers to work on vines from dispensers, and fishing rods to fish properly so we can make automatic fisheries.  (It wouldn't be unbalanced because you'd have to make a redstone timer and the odds it would snatch up a catch would be rare)
    Perhaps a new type of item or perhaps a golem buddy that you can give a pickaxe or a sword.  But then they'd have to add a way to control the golem and give it orders.

    Good idea, but I think it should be able to both attack and mine (Depending on what is in front of it) with all tools.

    This is a great idea to get rid of tnt duping while still requiring creativity to get much further than a cobblestone generator however it would have to use the tools durability over time to not be overpowered however you could have it that tools with one durability don't function in the dispenser so you could repair them if you wanted to.
