Beacons effects to limit hostile mob spawns
We all know that, in order to make safe builds, you have to sacrifice atmosphere for lighting. To prevent torch spamming or disruptive lighting in builds, I think beacons should have an effects that stops mod spawning in a certain radius.
First, beacons are already in the game. They are endgame items(once you kill the wither and end dragon you focus on farms and building anyways). Whether you add a "no mobs" effect to the last tier, add a whole new tier, or add some other condition, it's still endgame.
Second, while all the new lighting options available in recent updates are great, some times darkness is best for the build(especially to add atmosphere). I dont think we should be forced to incorporate lighting blocks into builds that don't suit them, so... use beacons.
Overall, because beacons are endgame and can remove the need for intrusive light sources, beacons should be able to prevent mods spawns.
