    The water particles would make dripping sounds when you get out of the water.

     

    This would also apply to all mobs too. Which would mean undead mobs wouldn't set on fire for 5 seconds when they come out of the water during daytime.

    simple, yet impactful. Maybe it is also valid after standing under the rain foor a while? In addition, could it have other kinds of interactions with items/blocks/entities, such as blazes taking contact damage from you, magma blocks also not damaging you for a brief while (although they could reduce the duration of the effect) and, possibly, sand slowing you down? Maybe I'm exaggerating with some of those ideas, but they were examplethat just came to my head right now.

    what if u could make "ash" with the water

    like if a tree was on fire and u had been in the water and u walked into it

    it would make it into an ash tree
