    Not to mention this good be very good for modders and Marketplace creators alike since the vanilla mobs are now tougher arenas and difficulty enhancing creations would benefit immensely from Heather Shadelight's Expert Mode

    P.S. Mojang if you add this you also need to optimize Minecraft on Switch it lags and has issues even in vanilla survival with out any marketplace or anything it runs solo poorly

    I think that this would be surprising to have in the game. I hope that this will enter the game because when I read it it sounded pretty good. I agree that this should be in the game.

    I have been told by countless players (and irl friends) that Minecraft is a boring game due to mobs being too easy. These suggestions would be a great addition to the game. I especially loved the idea of the creeper running at you, or jumping right before blowing up.

    Hopefully they'll add an "Expert" or "Insane" mode to Minecraft.

    I would also add a special skeleton that looks very similar but that switches from bow to axe when in proximity to the player. Because a lot of players use the shield to protect themselves against skeletons, and the axe can break the player's guard. This way the shield breaking mechanic would be used more.
    I saw this idea from Devon's True survival. I don't own this idea but i think it would fit very well in vanilla, in this expert mode in particular.

    I think cave spiders should randomly rarely spawn in any deep cave.

    Nice idea! Adding to your advanced mob AI, maybe mobs could work together? Examples include witches throwing splash potions of fire resistance to cross rivers of lava, throwing instant health potions at living mobs and instant damage at undead mobs. Mobs alert other mobs to create a mob to attack the player (get it?). Maybe even Illagers make the spawning rate of Captains rise, Witches throw water breathing at other mobs, or monsters move towards "unnatural" blocks (planks, torches, etc not available as natural formations) and Villages.

    Okay I got a couple of ideas, cave spiders should spawn below Y 0 instead of spiders, zombies in zombie sieges should all have some sort of armor equipped to make it a actual "seige", and zombies should be able to break glass blocks and panes in pursuit of villagers or players, and finally zombies should be able to crawl like the player does through one block spaces EXCEPT they can crawl through the space if it's one block off the ground. (Zombie breaks a village house window and crawls through it)
    Finally also zombie related zombie sieges should also have one of the unused giant zombie in the horde the giant should behave like a normal zombie except in can break or to be more specific walk right through any wood type block, cobblestone, and glass meaning that one of those in a zombie seige could level a village.
    I personally believe these changes would truly be a challenge for the experts among us

    It’d be cool if the villagers where smarter in this game mode too — They could have a hostile mode where they run you out of town if your charisma level gets too low.

    Yes scary but not insane .would make you bunker down and watch your back .may i say the mode should have a 1day+ of run time regardless if you switch back to normal\hard. Would give you warning before activating "expert mode". More risk more reward ,the mode stays on longer the more you  have it on .

    I agree with this idea wholeheartedly and it couples with the new combat mode perfectly. But in addition to all this, I think that Zombie AI should include a simple strategy that will increase the difficulty many times over.

     

    When Zombies attack in hoards, the Zombie with the least HP moves to the back of the Hoard while the rest of them surge forward. This technique (hereafter referred to as the ‘Hoard Effect’) allows the Hoard to survive longer, increasing the difficulty as, instead of simply defeating one Zombie completely before moving on to the next, the player is forced to deplete the entire Hoard’s HP before even being able to destroy a Zombie.

    The ‘Hoard Effect’ is actually used in real battles. New soldiers are sent to the front lines while the wounded are drawn back to rest and recover.

    Pathfinding can be improved for a lot of of animals. Wolves and bees desperately need fixes. Wolves shouldn't teleport. They should follow the player. And bees should be able to get over fences. I've also had turtles just stop moving for some weird reason.
