This suggestion is probably going to be controversial but I feel like they should really decrease the amount of waterholes that generate in the Plains biome. I know they can be useful for obtaining water without having to locate a river or an ocean but there's simply way too many waterholes in the Plains biome.
Take a look at this image: https://prnt.sc/lprvu5
In the 1.14 update, they introduced the new look of villages. 4/5 villages I managed to locate in the normal world, they all had certain houses that spawned on top of these waterholes which ultimately resulted in the houses getting destroyed. That's not the only problem though. A lot of people find the Plains biome to be the perfect place to settle down and build their own towns and cities but the amount of waterholes there are makes it an annoyance for people to build without filling in the holes first or building over it (which can result in mobs spawning in them). I'm not asking for this feature to be removed entirely but its generation could definitely be decreased.
