The ability to strip Mushroom Blocks with an axe to get its inside texture

Just a way to get that inside texture without having to place mushroom blocks around a mushroom block

    I am working on a large build that i intend to build on a survival server that uses a lot of stripped mushroom blocks & while sketching in creative i found that the stripped mushroom blocks are not in the creative inventory, you cant block select them, you can't use /give command to get them & you cant silk touch them either!?.

    Building with them in creative is a pain in itself as you have to either use another mushroom block to strip them then remove the mushroom block you used to strip it or use the debug stick which again involves more needless clicking & time wasting.

    Using stripped mushroom blocks to build with in creative is frustrating & takes more time than it really should so you can imagine what it's like trying to build with stripped mushroom blocks in survival.

    Giving players some way of crafting stripped mushroom blocks would be great & since axes can already strip logs using axes to strip mushroom block seems the most logical & intuitive way.

    the side you use the axe on should determine what side gets stripped

    I was just thinking about this. A good idea to get the inside texture blocks. Maybe stripping the blocks would make them drop a mushroom depending on the mushroom block you strip

    Yes! That would make obtaining these blocks much easier! Also, I'd like that If you Silk Touch a stripped mushroom block you can get it in your inventory

    I came to the website to post this, glad to see someone else already had the idea. Let's hope this can be a thing. Mushroom blocks need to be able to share their hidden texture with the world of builders.

    Support, using an axe on a mushroom block should apply the pores/sponge/inside texture on all 6 sides, and this "stripped" mushroom block should retain its state when mined with a Silk Touch axe, instead of reverting to a regular mushroom block-
