Broken Lanterns in Mineshafts (Suggestion)

I know there are similar posts but i propose a new block! the "Broken Lantern". It either emits as much light as a redstone torch or emits no light as it is broken, maybe you could fix it up using iron nuggets or torches. They would be in mineshafts scattered a bit but not too much, or maybe it would just not be obtainable and drop nothing but with that i would propose silk touch pickaxe broken lanterns if you went that route. Yes i did post this on reddit but immediately found out they are taking from the feedback suggestion website more, so here i am. (for clarification they would just be broken looking lanterns maybe like a chipped anvil and depending on emitting light or not maybe lit, maybe no light and maybe flickering? maybe a mix of them?)
