Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

There are also other blocks that should be waterloggable.

As this site is for beedback on every version, we should clarify as : finish the waterlogged tag on Minecraft Java Edition, because this is a supported feature on Bedrock.
    Why ?
This would at first remove a bit more the gap between the 2 versions. Secondly it would remove forgotten air bubbles in shipwrecks with generated door, and make them more esthetic. It would finally finish to extand build possibilities on Java, mostly on all underwater themed builds (which are common !).

    How ? Two options :
    1) By making the tag supported by the following blocks, which would get as well their model with water. (Not exhaustive list) :
    - bed
    - anvil
    - rail
    - carpet ?
    - plants ? (Grass, flower, bamboo, leaves) --> See impact for farms.
    - fence gates
    - etc.

    2) by finishing what Jeb started working on if it hasn't been trashed : making fluids working separately from blocks, allowing easy support for a wide range of blocks including the list below, and would as well allow the same support for lava or snow (it's not a fluid but bedrock support snow in plants for example) This could be extended to bedrock. This may ask a lot of work but it has already been extended greatly, and this could be done aside from the main theme as it is done for tagia.

This should for sure be considered, and would make happy a lot of builders (when Jeb presented water in leaves, trust me around me it made noise.)

I 100% agree with this. Doors need to be waterloggable before the 1.14 update.

I think doors should be a waterlogged feature, however, I think when you place them down in source blocks, they remove the source blocks like they do now. The only way to waterlog would be through manual water buckets. Why, because doors are a major strategy on water monuments and super helpful when exploring shipwrecks and other underwater things without respiration, conduits, or a potion.

You explained the request a whole lot better then I did, It's a shame it is still yet to be implemented!

It is too easy to just survive underwater by spamming doors, trapdoors and torches. Turtle helmets and water breathing potions would be viable and useful again if those block were waterlogged (in the torches case making NO air pocket and popping off into an item) to prevent air abuse.
