Tree Spiders
Found in any biome with trees. Small in size, like a silverfish, but normal spider-shaped. Green colored skin, matching the shade of the tree it comes from, or white in cold/snowy biomes. Hides inside leaf blocks, usually only one to a tree. When a player walks directly underneath them, or when the leaf block they are in is broken, they will drop out of the leaf block and bite, doing 4 poison damage. It only has 2 health, so it is easy to kill. If a player is running on by, the spider will probably miss when dropping. Whether or not the tree spider was successful in its drop-in bite, it will then walk and attack as normal spiders do, but with a small leap, half the distance of other spiders. If a player manages to avoid a tree spider, it will wander around for a bit, then choose a new tree and hide in the leaves again to wait for a new meal to walk by. Tree spiders don't drop eyes (too small), but still leave behind string, and very rarely, a tree spider egg sac. Tree spiders are aggressive no matter what time of the day it is.
Web Arrows
Tree spider egg sacs can be crafted with sticks and feathers to make web arrows, which do no damage, but splat out 1-3 blocks of webbing in on and around the empty spaces where they strike. These might be useful against sudden creeper invasions or in pillager attacks, among other things.
Spider Grove
Found in any forest biomes (including jungle and taiga), the spider grove a cluster of trees filled with bunches of tree spiders. This will be evident from the webbing which hangs from all the trees. While trees spiders are normally one per tree on a rare basis elsewhere, in a spider grove, there can be multiple spiders here, typically 2-3 per tree. Much like silverfish, killing a tree spider may or may not awaken other nearby tree spiders. At the center of the spider grove will be a pile of webbing underneath which is a chest with spider loot in it, an assortment of string, bones, rotten flesh, an odd tool or armor from the unlucky, and a couple or three tree spider egg sacs.
