Music for bosses

When fighting bosses such as the Wither or the EnderDragon there should be some action type music playing in the background, something intense that makes the fight seem more alive!

    I feel we could extend this to combat in general, though that might be tricky.

    Other than that I approve of the idea of giving the proper boss monsters a soundtrack that screams "We're all gonna be dead soon"

    There is unused audio for a track witch seems to be for a boss battle in the track you can hear Notch say Mojang specifcations. And i still think this is good  to add it because idea to add audio for the boss fights i'd love to have something to listen to when fighting

    At least for the enderdragon in the end, it starts playing as long as the ender dragon is still alive and in the end,if you spawn it on the overworld with ommands it won't work.Also if you respawn the enderdragon with the end cristal it will start playing the song again.

    The only problem I see is that it will need to be a good song :p

    Maybe have the music be within a certain distance so the player knows they are close to a boss/battle/raid/etc. Like when you hear mob sounds. They give off noise and you can tell how close you are to them the louder it becomes.

    The Ender Dragon has one, but it isn't an exciting action type thing, and I wished it sounded more 'boss' so I changed it to a boss theme from Kirby or something in my personal resource pack.

    Of course, as you said the Wither could do with one and also Raids and minibosses (such as Elder Guardians) could do with one.

    I agree! What I did to apply music to the wither is change the spawn sound, but that means you have to be somewhere around the orignal spawn, and it lags if the song is too long.

    Technically the Ender Dragon has a boss theme, it's mostly ambience, but that's just the kinda game Minecraft is.

    I can't see the Wither having a boss theme.

    Minecraft's music is about flexibility. It can play anytime, anywhere, and can still fit the mood. I think adding action packed boss themes would break this rule a little bit. Think about it. All music covers very vague and basic themes. Overworld, Underwater, Nether. Because that's all it needs. If the Wither had some ambience similar to the Ender Dragon, it could work, but I would rather not have boss music.

    there is "technically" boss music in the game, but it is super boring and nearly impossible to notice. I think music would also be good for fighting a pillager patrol, taking on a raid, or even angering a bunch of piglins!

    I was this should also apply to events like Raids and when exploring certain structures like the woodland mansion, ocean monuments, nether fortresses, and piglin bastions.

    Or instead of music for some of the smaller structures like temples and outposts, there should be new ambient sounds, like hissing, to create more atmosphere to the specific biomes.

    I support this as a general idea, but realistically this is going to be difficult to implement. Minecraft music needs to be somewhat open-ended, with a focus on ambiance rather than spectacle. Composing with these constraints, for a boss fight... It's a razor thin balance you're asking for. I hope a composer in the right place can make it happen, but this truly is a big ask.

    It would be cool if there was a chance of getting a music disc of the boss theme when you kill the boss.

    The music should appear a little before the boss bar shows up on screen. There could be unique music for raids, Dragon and Wither fights. Calm 4 could also make a return as boss music.

    Here is my idea: maybe the evoker theme from Minecraft dungeons (the one that says whoolooloo) could play during a raid and calm4 (the techno one with mojang specifications) could play during the either boss fight also the ender dragon already has boss music
