Swamp Overhaul! (Pictures and Textures Included)

With the whole "Biome Chooser" stuff happening lately, there is a high chance that the MC devs plan on going through most of the biomes and adding a lot of content to them!
The swamp is one of those biomes that are in NEED of this love....

Here is how they can be altered to become something Amazing!

The New Swamp!  <--(General Pictures of the swamp Redesign)

This new Swamp comes equipped new Willow Trees to replace the old boring ones!

The new swamp also has more life that being ambiance and beauty to the biome!

    Totally want this!!! Willow trees, alligators, frogs, fireflies, and herons would make for a great and interesting swamp! Right now it’s so boring and nothing really good there!

    I think instead of vines the weeping willows could have 'Weeping willow leaves' which would just be a different texture. it's leaf blocks could be called 'willow leaves' and just be a different texture to others.

    Also there could be different variations of swamp biome, such as the 'marsh', 'marshy grasslands', 'swampy grasslands', and 'swamped forest'.

    Some new hostile mobs could be FIRE flies and DRAGON flies in the literal sense. A bug that ignites you on fire if it hits you more than one time and an aggressive draconic bug with a lot of health that attacks you upon entering its field of view.

    Interesting idea regarding fireflies: they could be used to create a "Glow Potion" effect we have glow arrows why not glow potions?

    Let’s be honest, mostly every biome needs an overhaul in this game... I really love this idea! The willow tree would give us another type of wood to build with (we haven’t gotten a new tree in a while...

    I love this. I also love the idea of switching rabbits foot to luck potion. Maybe like a 30 second buff of Fortune 2 or something. This is great all around

    Willow trees sound great and could come with a basket weaver as a villager profession and since they are adding a bunch of new fruits the basket could be used for storing fruits and have some advantage like fruit can be eaten directly out of them like a cake

    That's cool.  I really like that idea.  What if they added swamp villages made of that wood and they could be on top of the water.  Or at least partially.  They water houses could be on stilts and stuff.

    Swamps need a threat like Crocodiles to keep the player focused while traversing the tricky swamps

    This is beautiful! I love this idea. You've created a great-looking tree and given it the perfect color scheme for the Swamp, exactly what many players actually want Mojang to include in biome updates. I do have a request, though: In your screenshots, you did not include a straight view of the Willow Sign or Willow Fence Gate. Could you include them in your post on the Willow tree?

    one extra thing should be cypress trees because they are almost always found in swamps.

    This is a pretty underrated post, way to go with all this. It's clear you put a lot of effort into this, and these are all really cool ideas! Definitely gets a vote from me.

    This revamp is fantastically realized! I love how everything is designed to fit right into the game.

    I honestly really like the fire flies as particles, though I understand that they would likely have to be mobs for the catching mechanic. The catching mechanic strikes me as unnecessary since I'm also not a fan of the ability to tame every single peaceful mob in the game, so I'd be fine if the bugs stayed as particle effects. The fireflies are a great idea on their own and I think should be in nearly every biome at night. They would add a lot to their atmosphere!

    They could add decorative blocks as well, such as tree mushrooms (I imagine them sticking to trees a bit like torches on walls), moss that could attach to ceilings, walls, and floors, and look a bit like carpet, and new plants. Maybe algae could grow on top of the water or something.

    This is a great idea and is extremely well thought out. Hopefully the upcoming swamp update will live up to the potential here. I think a heavy mist around swamps would really add to the ambiance, and slimes should definitely spawn in swamps frequently.

    Poison frogs should spawn only in the jungle(like IRL)
