When you are making your redstone suggestions, please note that Java and Bedrock will not have the exact same the same redstone systems - this would require redoing redstone system completely on one platform or the other. The two systems are functionally different and are going to stay that way. Please be sure to tag your suggestions with (Java) or (Bedrock).

I agree. Jukeboxes should not drop the discs once they are done, but put them into another slot. From here, a hopper could extract the disc. For now the Jukebox is silent (no redstone signal), this info could be used to insert the next disc.

This functionality is currently in Bedrock Edition, and it seems like a feature that would be welcome in other editions (at least Java). It allows jukebox discs to loop, shuffle with other discs, and more. It's a really cool feature that seems to have little dev overhead associated with it, seeing as it's already in the MC codebase somewhere.

Been wishing for this for years. Why bedrock has it and not java i dont understand. Seems simple. And sure maybe only 20 vote for it. But thats because people dont know they need this in their lives.

It makes no sense why this isn't in the game already. C418's music is great and relaxing and i want to be able to listen to it while grinding for sand or something without running back to the jukebox every few minutes.

It actually makes me angry that this hasn't been brought over to Java yet. It's so simple that I thought it would just work like a charm, but no, nothing. COME ON MOJANG.

I’d really love this since on Bedrock if you quit the game with a music disc in the jukebox, the music disc just despawns.

After looking on the Minecraft Wiki and finding this sort of functionality is only on Bedrock, I immediately came here to support bringing this over to Java Edition. It would be really nice to set up a "jukebox room", complete with switches that can auto insert and remove different disks. It would also be nice to have a way to loop a disc automatically.

YES PLEASE, why is this in the Bedrock version but not in Java? It's a basic function!
I was even thinking that maybe instead od hoppers we could use dispensers to insert discs in jukeboxes.

big YES! I want to have a music disc playlist playing in my house without me having to constantly go to the jukebox. Heres hoping they will someday put this into Java.

Seeing as this is available on Bedrock I'm surprised it is not available on Java.

Honestly, adding this functionality should be a no-brainer. It would allow all of us who enjoy our worlds to put a sound track at play w/o having to run back to our jukeboxes. My sons and I would use this on our server w/o question. Frankly, Jukeboxes are useless w/o this in Survival.

It does in bedrock with bad redstone but I agree Java should enjoy this with good redstone.

This seems to work on the bedrock edition of Minecraft, but not Java. Please bring this to Java, I don't understand why it doesn't work in both and if it only works in one, you'd think it be Java, but no.

Nice ! I would add to the idea that it would be nice to be able to detect the end of the music with a comparator. The comparator will allow to observe the music progression.

I agree, this feature is already on bedrock, it would be amazing for loops, random select, or even something similar to a real life jukebox where you could pay diamonds to have a song play

This would be a really awesome touch tk the game. A small feature that could make a huge difference to the way music is viewed I. This game (especially with the introduction of new discs like Pigstep)

It would be an amazing idea not only to get a music loop/changing system but also a good timer for players that just need a temporary redstone source with out an item on a pressure plate or a long chain of repeaters and/or comparators. Also a jukebox is more predictable than an item on a pressure plate. No mob can interact with a jukebox but a zombie can pickup the item or just stand on the pressure plate.

I think the easiest way to implement this is to make jukeboxes have an "inventory slot", and they play the music that goes into the slot once, then keeps it in there until removed by a hopper or by the player. Then, you can use redstone and comparators to detect when it stops playing, and wire up a simple auto disc remover circuit.

This is kind of ridiculous with how many replies there are and the two year period without any change. Very disappointed and wish to have all my dreams come true, walking into my home with c418 playing them dank tunes.

YES, please add this in Java. It makes the music disc worthwhile to obtain. You can then actually enjoy discs, instead of running back to reset the jukebox every few minutes.

    Maybe Not Hoppers But Droppers?

They Are The Blocks That Can Input items Into Storage Units

It seems Sencsable To be droppers not hoppers
