How can we make the biomes and dimensions you explore better? What biomes or dimensions are we currently missing? Why do we need them and what makes them unique?

    There are already plenty of reasons for the player to stay in the Nether.  Blaze grinding, collecting ghast tears, mining netherrack, and getting whither skulls.

    The problem is that when things only work in certain areas (that are inconvenient in one way or another), people don't make bases there, they make AFK farms.  Sure, some people would make a base in the Nether to grow Nether Wart, but many more would just make an AFK farm and wait for the Nether Wart to grow while they're off doing something else.  And remember that Nether Wart used to only grow in the Nether.  I assume they changed that for a reason, and it would be a shame to revert it just to try to force people to play more in the Nether.

    I try to AFK as little as possible and to do so I have as many of the things I want to be growing in the same place at the same time.  As such, any time I'm spending waiting for my Nether Wart to grow in the Nether is time that all of my other farms are sitting idle in unloaded chunks.

    I absolutely support making the Nether a more interesting place to explore and build.  What I don't like is things that only work there in an attempt to force people to spend more time there than they actually want to.

    @claygoddnesssari you reached some interesting points but @bilbo baggins I am going to have to disagree. People go to the nether to afk farm blaze rods and skulls. Exploring the nether gives you nothing more than quartz and the odd fortress

    @bilblobaggins when I say "stay in the nether", I mean long-term like you would stay in the overworld

    except the overworld is pretty! and the nether...is the nether. 

    Believe it or not, and some people may disagree with me here, the only thing that would make me want to go to the nether more is if it were MUCH harder. The Nether is supposed to be this harsh unforgiving environment of flames and destruction.

    I don't want it to be more "inviting". That would ruin the feel of the nether. "You don't WANT to go to the nether, you HAVE to go to the nether." (to craft eyes of ender)

    I feel it should stay challenging.

    The blaze crushing is an AFK farm.  Also, you forgot to unpack the fortress aspect.  Fortresses are the main reason people go to the Nether.

    @bilbobaggings there should be more attractions in the nether than AFK farms and fortresses. It should have biomes, mob and treasures which give the player a sense of adventure and dread.
