Maybe it could be better to make baobabs a new kind of tree .I really want new trees

I like the idea but we need new types of wood so 2x2 acacia saplings is not the best idea ever. Maybe a new sapling a new type and the you can place 2x2 saplings. Just like the one in dark oak trees

That's a good idea, but I think they should be even bigger. Baobabs are supposed to be absolutely huge. Maybe to reflect this with sapling, they can be placed in a 3x3 pattern.

i feel it would be good to have 2x2 variant of all trees with ancient oaks and 2x2 birch trees(idk what they are actually called, sorry) and maybe a tiny tree if you place a 1x1 dark oak

What would even be cooler, by planting 3x3 saplings, it grows a baobab with water inside, since the entire width of the baobab is so big because it stores water inside.

A Baobab needs to be biger and can be used as a starter hause or a new spawner for the witch.I like this idea

I love this idea, I think they should be a new wood type, partly because acacia wood is not the most liked. Could anyone tell me what baobab wood looks like, I haven’t found a good picture of it. If we want to be creative, we could maybe make baobab wood like a yellow wood type, as we currently do not have this. I also think the trunk should be 3x3 or so and full of water blocks in the center column, to provide water source. Perhaps these trees would require 9 saplings but make them have a higher drop rate from leaves.

This idea is cool. I totally agree with you. The boabab has an awesome look and texture, and I think it should be added into the savanna biome as a normal tree in the savanna biome since it would make a cool addition in it and improved the savanna biome along with its look as well! Mojang, please add this cool, unique tree into Minecraft soon as a normal tree and as a tree that can be planted, too, as well.

GREAT idea, 4 x 4 would make it possible to have a base IN a tree trunk, i have been looking for this for ages!

Baobab could be a potion ingredient perhaps for brewing potions with multiple effects as baobab in real life has multiple health benefits, or perhaps a food that gives the saturation effect.

Yes and possibly,  if very necessary  for detail ,  llamas and villages could spawn closer to them , since it is shade for llamas and a big tree for villagers

That doesn't really look like a baobab to me-- baobabs are thick all the way up, not just at the bottom. Also, they showed 2D versions of them when they were announced, so there is clearly a design already chosen. They also don't have grey bark or orange wood, so it's unlikely that they would be an acacia variant.

i love this. mainly because one of my minecraft houses is surrounded by acacia trees, they get old after a while. a new tree type would make acacia trees just a bit more epic.

    This looks really cool!

Look up the Malagasy baobabs which are extremely impressive. Imagine a biome a bit like that...?

Are these supposed to be common African Baobab, rather than Madagascan giant Baobab??
