Why are there no structures that require you to go to another dimension to gain entry? In other words what if there was a large treasure room that spawns at bedrock but, due to the room being encased in bedrock, the only way in is through a portal in the nether. Thus I bring you, "The Nether Gate!"
To keep players from making their own portal to gain entry there will be a portal that spawns in just the right location in the nether to connect to the portal in the bedrock treasure room in the overworld. But this isn't a normal nether portal. It is highly decorated like a gate. Imagine a castle drawbridge made of nether bricks in the style of a nether fortress. With a large portal where the gate would be, of course! To activate it, however, you will have to face the new nether mini boss, "The Gate Keeper (New Nether Mini Boss)" Upon defeating the mini boss you will be rewarded by a new drop, Link here: The Mace (Let me explain), and be free to activate the portal, gaining access to the Treasure room. The treasure room would have nether brick walls so you don't see the ugly bedrock. On the walls could be three wither skulls hanging over a chest with randomized loot. The skulls would make it a very beneficial find if you want to summon the wither without grinding wither skeletons for hours.
