Can we also make it possible for PS4?

This would solidify Minecraft as the best "Cross-Platform" game. If they did this through OneCloud as well this would make the experience much smoother. All I can do is download Texture Packs onto my Switch using Realms but being able to add full add-on would be incredible.

I've actually been looking for where to mention this. I believe this would be possible if OneDrive (Microsoft's multi platform cloud storage) was incorporated into Minecraft. Even if they don't add this with the ability to use addons, I would at least like my custom skin on Xbox.

I know Java edition has awesome mods but I play bedrock and no offense but the mods are much worse. There should be a way to transfer them.

For all the functionality they are adding to Bedrock Add-ons, Java Edition *lacks* this ability to add in new entities, and I'm not clear why Add-ons are not a given in Java. Pretty much the same as why I'm not clear why Data Packs are not on Bedrock, given how useful each is to the one platform they are on.

I love the idea of adding entities in an addon, and im practically bursting with ideas. the only issue is that I play mostly on the switch, and theres no good way that I know of to transfer custom addons over from my computer. If Mojang or Microsoft incorporated some way for two devices under the same account to "talk" to each other to transfer addons, it would be so helpful.

I bought a few Add.ons on PS3 and then they stopped the support for it. Now I can't use them on PS3 and it would be more better if I could use them on PC, too.

We need something simmilar to Bethesda.net or the Steam workshop! I think it would be amazing to have an easy way for creators and consumers to upload and download mods or "addons" I hope Microsoft and Mojang are listening! ;p

I suggest a kind of external storage recognition or so in order to transfer the behavior packs and resorce packs. Moreover it can also be used for other type of content like worlds.

That is because i think they are developing the game only for computers and mobile phones because a lot of the features of the PC and Pocket edition like behavior packs or UI aren't working properly on console (they are not comfortable to use or you can't even use them).

If anybody of the minecraft team or an anonymus person read this i will apreciate.

Addons have come so far and having this kind of feature would be some next level stuff! I think that it isn't a thing yet because Mojang's prioritizing revamping the dull and unpolished aspects of the game.

I really like the idea of a mini cloud for Minecraft! It could be an app on mobile and computer, and an app on console as well. I think it should be 5$ or less, possibly free!

I came here just to look for this. An in game repository slimier to that of Beam.ng Drive is probably the best option. It is an ingame menu of different Mods and doing this with addons would be amazing!

I own both the java version and xbox version, but for my computer, I am unable to use the java version, slows my computer too much. I have seen some awesome addons for java, but need a tool to convert them to mcpack files. Perhaps just having a tool to do that work work?

As a person who plays almost EXCLUSIVELY on Xbox I love the idea as I can only do add-ons on pocket edition currently

I don’t understand why this can’t be done easily i mean they already save things that you buy at the store across devices, so i fail to see why they can’t save them to you account so you can access them from other devices like the switch.
