Look Mojang, I love the game I rated it a 5 star but you need to work on the game and it’s creativity of living things. There should be more mobs that should spawn in more biomes or dimensions. The nether update was awesome but I only play on phone and Xbox, but rumors have been spread that you great people are still working around the clock. And that y’all are still working to put the nether update on all devices. Minecraft can go beyond the limits of popularity, and the hell you did. Minecraft is one of the best games I have ever played and I want to take it to popularity so thank you for your time and thank you for making this game. Sincerely, SolarBrush2023

I really think something needs to be done about players lighting up an entire area to remove hostile mob spawning and difficulty.

I think that it should be unpredictable. Makes it more difficult.

You should make it so mobs spawn in the loaded in chunks when there are no mobs in loaded chunks because I killed off a lot of animals at the start of the game I had to find no loaded chunks to find more animals.

“Hostile mobs should despawn unless they have had significant interaction with the player (not just because the mob has looked at the player, for example).”

I want to know how little interaction counts as significant if you would have an interaction with a mob in your case. Like if a mob has a special thing to it like holding an item, has armor, or is a villager Zombie it should stay alive if the player was seen or if the player saw the mob and looked at it like an enderman would activate, it wouldn’t despawn. So that players can keep special mobs from despawning when they’re preparing to trap it.

“Passive mobs should spawn steadily around the player, so that resources can be gathered as needed.”

I think you shouldn’t be able to being anywhere and get food. I think the spawn rates are fine. If you give players food all the time they won’t ever make real farms, they won’t breed animals, and they’ll make spawning farms using grass or whatever you need to spawn mobs. Litterally any way they could be spawned around the player could be farmed super easily and it’s crazy. I love farming mobs. Skeleton Spawners and Enderman Spawners are great. But infinite food isn’t great at all.

I love all the other ideas though. I’m sorry if this message isn’t clear. I had to retype it, because the site bugged out. :(

Slimes should definitely spawn more often. I have played Minecraft for 2 years and only seen one slime in survival. According to the Minecraft Combat Handbook, slimes are supposed to be a challenge when you are mining. I do like the idea of slimes spawning in swamps but in all, the Minecraft mob spawning balance is a little off.

One caveat on this: I actually think mob despawning should be easier to delay if you want to delay it. For example, let's say you make a zombie testificate friend and you want to keep him safely trapped while you find a nametag or a golden apple.

So if Mojang is going to make despawning happen more easily, I hope they'll also offer some clear techniques that can be employed for when a player gets attached to an especially plucky zombie pigman. Maybe I'm the only one who would care about that, but darn it, I want to resurrect my blacksmith, and it's hard enough as-is to do so when it's early in the world's run!

There should be an option to turn off raids because I want to be able to build things without having to worry about fighting any raids in the process. It can be an option that turn on or off when we start a new world or when we edit the settings.

Ive had a few instances where I'd find a coral reef or something like that and there would be absolutely no fish or turtles anywhere and I'm not sure if something killed them or if something else happened.

Zombie pack spawning needs to be balanced on Java, currently if you hit one zombie you will have to fight the whole night

I want to be able to find a tutorial on YouTube and not have to specify bedrock edition as it is much harder to find decent farms especially iron farms

When I am building or doing some other thing outside my house a creepier comes up from behind me, which is normal but than a few seconds later right when I start patching up a hole 2 or 3 more waves of them come and blow stuff up, chances are though most people probably don’t care about this though because it Is probably completely normal just pretty annoying

There are a lot of great suggestions here and it would be great to see some implemented, especially concerning mobs.

Not sure if this was suggested previously, though having some organic respawning or "repopulating" of villagers would be nice. Perhaps have wandering villagers... sorta like the pillagers, but rather than to pillage... they would seek a place to shelter. Also, even adding a little "progress" to the villagers. For example, with the trade and advancement of farmer villagers, their gardens reflect more variety of crop. Or, even on occasion have mob events, like the raid events, where villagers would make a community effort to build something, like a new farm or pen... something. I think it would be a better dynamic for the villager mob than the current lemming (...Hotdog Knights).

It would be really cool if you could arm the villagers, like the vanilla ones... and then train them and level them up to fight.

What do you mean by out of range. I'm probably wrong but that might mess with how maps with mobs are made

It would be better to increase the links between mobs and biomes, in particular hostiles mobs.

This not means to make all hostile mobs the same as slimes that spawn only in a single biome, but make they spawn in large quantity in 2 - 4 biomes, and much less in other biomes.

For example creepers might spawn in large quantity in caves and mountains (gun-powder related biomes), skeletons might spawn in very large quantity in deserts and badlands (death areas), witches and spiders in dark oak forests (this will make them very scary cursed forests), and the same with zombies and other.

And it would be very nice, in general, to make hostile mobs much frequent in forests, and almost "zero-frequent" in plains. This will make forests much more interesting and challenging (and scary), as in real world they are.

    Maybe in a Biome Update?

Maybe with this, there could be a new beacon effect that will stop mobs from spawning like in a mooshroom biome? I love having darker spaces in my base and torch spam does not look very good

As a bedrock player, I also think bedrock should be more like Java, because most how-to videos are for Java, and most Java players prefer to stick with that.

I've been playing Minecraft java for 9 years and i made the switch to Minecraft bedrock to play with more friends and found that the bedrock edition needs a lot of work on the mob spawning both with golems and hostile mobs and the over spawning of peaceful mob, thank you for reading this :) from Peter Jenkins

no chunk mob limits please just area mob limits and no instant dying, some things naturally clump together. So no instant dying.

How about passive mods that are interacted with the player not despawn, such as leading with a lead, breeding, and hitting them

this would be really useful since like many others we dont like to play with huge mob farms and massive automatic exp grinders, we just like a steady source of mob loot to power our elytras or something,
