/replaceitem entity armor.head would work on mobs like the pig.

       A long time ago I was trying to make a car in minecraft. The original idea was I would get a donkey and put a block on it's head and make a custom block model for the block to turn it into a car. I ended up having to take an armor stand put the block on it's head and then constantly tp it to the donkey. This caused a tiny bit of unnecesary lag and it could've been a lot more simple if I could have just put the block on the donkey's head.

    Well, this wouldn't be simple to do. It would mean a lot of new rendering code for armor etc. But it would be a nice addition anyway.

    boy this actually works u only need be inteligent  try /replaceitem entity @e[type=pig] slot.armor.head 0 (the item)

    Just to clarify.... this DOES work. The problem is that you cannot see it.

    We must have different definitions of "work". If you cannot see/use the saddle, it doesn't work. :\

    I think this person is trying to talk about making it wherefrom java edition. Was able to get 3d blocks on themselves and players would be able to do the same. Make it where on bedrock edition we would be able to get 3d blocks on the heads. Theoretically.
