I sometimes find it confusing when I see another player taking damage from nothing that’s attacking them. They currently flash red when poisoned and the only way I’m able to tell by that when one is poisoned is by identifying how fast my fellow player is taking damage on their own. It doesn’t take long for me to finally connect all the dots, however if a player was poisoned and takes damage, with this little visual update, I would instantly, yet correctly assume,” Oh he or she is just poisoned.” In terms of how much time one would need to figure out that their fellow player has been poisoned, it would take less than a second.
Also when a player gets the Wither Effect, I think players should flash with a wither-related color rather than the traditional red because again, to summarize what I’m trying to say, I think our characters should flash different colors that correspond to the state our characters are in given the two examples I mentioned, so that the color the player gives off will tell another player in multiplayer a better story of what’s happening to them, assuming they aren’t just getting hurt by a hostile mob or player.
