Why the need to change the functionality of anvils?
Overtime, certain containers in the game got an overhaul as to how they work and function. They have an extra slot needed for said containers to be operational.
- Brewing Stands require blaze powder to be powered.
- Enchantment Tables require lapis lazuli to enchant items.
It would make sense to do the same with anvils.
Add a "hammer" slot for anvils to be functional. Each repair/rename from the use of the hammer will take one durability. This could also encourage players to do some exploring to search for these items.
