though this may already exist, there isn't enough awareness spread around concerning the issue on this subject. weather or not this exists is completely irrelevant and besides the point. it's evident this issue doesn't affect you.

There isn't a transfer packet right now: what actually happens is that a proxy reroutes your Minecraft traffic between servers and tricks your client into thinking it's just changing dimensions. A transfer packet would tell you "connect to this server," instead of saying "hey, I'm this server. Always been this server. Totally."

Yes mojang please add this. We asian players are sick of getting insanely high ping on usa servers like hypixel, making our game unplayable..

As a Hosting Company Provider and Server owner of a relative big server I can say that this feature could be a game changer for the minecraft community. Players from the US do not have to play on the EU servers anymore while still being connected to the same ip address. Many big servers like Hypixel, MC-Central, Manacube and some pvp servers have been needing this for ages.

This would be brilliant as the lag caused when I play hypocrisy is immense. I would love to be able to play hypixel on eu servers without lag, as right now it takes me about 20 seconds for me to be able to buy from the shop in bedwars

This has been going on for way too long and the hypixel community has wanted it more than anything from the start of hypixel and years later they still haven't done anything about It ):C any game developer would have at least some sense to add these things so regions can exist on servers. Bedrock edition has it but not java? i completely stopped playing hypixel or any NA servers because  200+ms is rediculous. It would be nice if they at least added in the 1.18 new update tho

Seeing that the feedback team approved this post, this feature does not already exist as many people claim. (Otherwise, that'd mean that the feedback team is not doing their job properly.)

This is a terribly needed packet. A lot of servers require dozen of dummy proxies for the sole purpose of getting server switching, increasing hosting cost, latency, and complexity. Mojang is just as aware of this as we are, since they implemented it for Bedrock.

Anyone who is seeing this comment and want transfer packets in Minecraft please spread awareness about it and about this forum too bring more people to vote for this. So that Mojang will be able to see this. (Also tell them to spread awareness about it too.) Hope Mojang see this and consider it.

we rly need this so more server can add different servers on parts of the world such as Australia, this will make Minecraft more fun and playable and more people will come back to the game.

Great idea, even though I think that's not getting added any time soon and even if it was it would only be for new versions anyway.

Please implement this, us Australians will be able to finally play Hypixel or any other server without 300 ping.

    Mojang, please add this.

As much as we love updates to our survival worlds, do consider the multiplayer community. Multiplayer hasn't been updated or reworked much in terms of improving quality, so I think adding transfer packets can be a start.

A lot of us play multiplayer often, and this is needed badly.
