Ghast hives and larvae

An idea that comes directly from Grian. In the Nether, there could be ghast hives and larvae within.

    I completely agree with Grian when he says that the nether needs such adventurous n challenging structures to make nether gameplay more interesting n intriguing...

    creepy perfect for the nether just also make it so that the larva eat wood related stuff that you are holding especally fishing rods andmakit so that thare are queens that will build a new hive if the old one is destroyed and also more demented and creepy and distorted things kinda based on bees and wasps and termites and ghosts  mixed to gether then warped to un perfection

    Instead of a spawner the whole chunk could be a "ghast hive chunk" so ghast's and ghast larva are constantly spawning unless the player does something to stop the spawning or use it to make a ghast farm !

    What would it look like, and larvae would have to be baby version.  Maybe similar to bees in a sense, and create some sort of massive weird structure. Must produce some sort of block.

    This idea seems a little weird to me. I’m fine with the concept of hives but are the larvae necessary?

    Yes! And then you can tame the ghast larva, maybe feed it with netherwart, and when it grows up you will have a pet ghast that you can saddle and ride on!

    Maybe their could be a ghast queen that looks similar to the thing from twilight forest mod ands tendrils connect to the hive and slowly fade into the netherack and when it shoots fireballs at the player it explodes and the larvae appear and if you destroy the hive but don’t kill the queen it will escape and spawn ghast and wander and it would be like a boss fight

    Additionally larvae should be able to swim in lava and attack players or even attack striders

    Ghast larvae shouldn't be able to fly, they have to walk on the floor of the hive

    This is an amazing idea, I like the concept of a ghast hive, much like a bee hive, and i agree with some other comments that explain that larvae should be able to eat through certain blocks such as wood, and should be able to burrow into the ground such as dirt, sand, clay, or mud.

    I feel like this would be awesome tucked away in a basalt delta. The larva could be like an anti-snowman that spreads fire when walking instead of snow. It will also go out of its way to annoy you be walking where you're going while being out of range from the player. However, if you manage to feed it, it will temporarily stop this behavior.

    yes they look like invertabrates
