Welcome to July’s featured topic: The Swamp.
12 July: In light of a discussion we had with our team about "megathreads", we will be taking a new approach to featured topics. We will introduce the overall topic/theme on the front page, but the discussions will take place in separate threads in the categories that are appropriate to your topic. In order to help us find your post easier (hint: good idea), please use the theme in the subject line. For this month that would be:
(Swamp) Grootslang
I'm using this as an example, this would be the subject line for a post about this creature found in the Mobs, Animals, and Characters category. That will help us find your idea and round them up with the others at the end of the month.
Please keep suggestions focused on a single idea per post. Posts containing multiple items will be removed, in accordance to the posting guidelines.
Duplicates will be removed. If you're going to start a new Crocodile suggestion, it needs to be significantly different than another Crocodile suggestion. If the two posts are too similar, the oldest thread will take precedence, regardless of number of comments or voting status.
The number of swamp threads is what has inspired us to start up a featured thread, much like the underground thread (which you should absolutely still contribute to). The underground thread has been very helpful for our team, and we thank everyone for continuing the discussion (and staying on topic).
Please note appearance on the pinned list in the thread is not an endorsement by the community team or us saying go vote for a particular idea, we’re just letting you know if you’re highly invested in these items, you should discuss them there.
This thread will be closed. If you have contributed, thank you! If you would like to start a separate post for your idea, please feel free to do so and edit your post in this thread (or contact us so we may do so) to guide people to the new discussion. Or please feel free to just leave your contribution here - we'll still read it and consider it in our discussion! If you have yet to contribute to the thread and have an idea for the swamps, we look forward to reading it soon in the appropriate discussion category.
Thanks!
