There are many mods around the minecraft community that allow you to nick someone but almost all of them result in: ~nicknamehere: message another problem is they don't change skin and cape. That is, of course not such of a problem but if you see someone reaaaaaly good having suuuuper good ping and also including ~ with his nickname it becomes clear a person behind the nick is actually possessing a strong internet acces- he is probably rich. Either this or their signal strength will collapse in some minutes. So if it stands for some time it is clear whats behind it. I know I could create a plugin myself or look for hours for it but I want everyone who starts a new server to be able to quickly run it without nicking problems. So I have an idea.
/nick <name> <new name> (<new skin{presets, common}>) (<chat colour>) (<ping{bad/mid/high}>)
stuff in () is optional, in {} you can choose between possibilities , <> include values and "," separate types of choices. that is basically equal to:
NEEDED: /nick playername newname
FULL COMMAND: /nick playername newname skinfromusername chatcolor pingquality
This is a case of use:
NEEDED: /nick technoblade ALJWD_da3
FULL COMMAND: /nick technoblade kuadw6_E Notch default mid
This may require changing / adding "playerinchat" variable being set to player's name at boot and to nickname when set. Instead of printing name and your speech in chat it should just print something that I would call like this in SOME OTHER programming languages: str(playerinchat, ": ", message)
This takes from 10 minutes up to 2 days of coding depending on Minecraft code and how chat is designed. I hope you are all having a great and safe day, enjoy!
