mcfiles browser, Xbox one Bedrock (was: xbox addons)

on minecraft bedrock edition xbox one you can add a browser for mc files

    This is already happening. But it's down to Xbox to do it not Minecraft. Microsoft is making a file explorer with Edge to allow downloadable files and in-game access to those files.

    I'll be waiting for this once the modding API is added. It's going to be glorious. Bedrock will surpass Java once everything is all said and done. Bedrock will be the definitive Minecraft.

    You can use the free UFOTransfer app on Xbox One to access bedrocks files

    @nathan ferry The problem is they have to give us access to a file system to the Xbox without  compromising security of the Xbox and Xbox OS. They don’t want people to take the Xbox OS and make hacks for it or emulated it on other systems to avoid bans and etc. There is apps on the Xbox one store that give you access to Minecraft file path but don’t get a virus... Then you’ll be stuck with a brick of a console.

    You can open downloaded files through Edge, but Minecraft isn't set to receive these files.

    I know this may not be the answer you want, but get a pc. It's better than an Xbox. You are basically free to do whatever you can think of. They aren't locked down like consoles are.
