Mud:
Appearance: Dirt but with less noise.
Function: Like soul sand in that it slows you down.
Drops:Dirt unless with silk touch, then mud.
Forms: When water and dirt touch.
Purpose: Fun and making the game more realistic.
Update:
Appearence: slightly lighter than image below, and 15 pixels highSounds: place: slime block place noise, same with break, but more sand-y/dirt-y sounding
Function: can be tilled to create farmland that doesn't need water, at least for a while, drys out when smelted/in nether or not touching water in the over world for maybe 160 or so ticks, you sink in like you would AFK while in lava VERY slowly, and always having at least one mud block fully beneath you.
Commands: has tag "dryness" which dictates how fast and how much you sink in it, as well as its textures darkness and "noise" , has tag "candry" which dictates if it, well, can dry out.
Note: If grass cannot spread onto mud, put grass can become marshy ground which looks like grass except with mud where the dirt is and darker grass, behaves like dryer mud that drys out slower.
