Easier custom villager trading in java minecraft would be good. I also NEED custom villager trading in bedrock too.

Yes! I would love this- there are some items that I just am not willing to get the normal way, but don't want to feel like I'm cheating, either. I've also wanted to do trades that "unlock" at certain points on adventure maps that I've created, but so far I've really had to rely on an honor system for that. It would be really nice to have this implemented.

I don't think it should be ingame feature. Maybe but not really. I would like, however, to see it added like the loot tables (and like it is in AddOns for bedrock). So you could just release a custom datapack and it would include the trade tables.

Also, I wish (truely more than anything) to be able to add new villager types, and also customize their trade.

You can customise villager trading on pc
/summon villager then a lot of other stuff

But It would be awesome for pocket edition to update the command system and add all the stuff that is on pc

I totally agree with this idea. They should allow us to customize villager trades, so that way we can make maps for games like Bedwar’s. And if the idea is taken into consideration, they should make it so that the villagers won’t stop selling or buying too. I hope that this idea is put in the spotlight some day

even though its possible to create custom trades from commands, an actual "edit" function would be much appreciated by the community, like opening screen when clicking on a villager to drag an item into a "input" slot and another into a "output". also, adding custom trade commands on bedrock edition would be a huge help to mapmakers.

I love this idea! I am a real pessimist and don't give votes easily, but boy I would love this!

Also, there should be one gamerule for that, like "canCustomizeVillagerTrades" or something like that. By default is "false", but you can activate it. Maybe in 1.19/1.20 will come, maybe...

Also, I'll vote up this. I would really like seeing this in the game.

I also agree with the above ideas, hoping to realize custom villagers who can modify the content of the store in the creative mode, instead of only customizing them with instructions.

    1. For the goods to be sold, you can use Ctrl+Right Click in the creative mode to open the setting interface, you can directly add a list of goods for sale, and you only need to put the items you want to redeem on. If you want villagers to sell special items, you only need to put them on to complete the design.

    2. After opening the setting interface, you can even make subtle adjustments to the experience points gained, so that you can easily design a villager shop

    3. The style design and occupation part can also be adjusted using the menu of the setting interface, such as coniferous forest, jungle, craftsman, etc.

    4. You can also add a new dialogue, which will be displayed after completing the transaction or opening the transaction interface.

This would be great, because, there are no NBT data editing commands in bedrock edition!

I'd rather not use commands for a customized villiager. That's why I voted. The inventory UI would be the easiest way for that.
