Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Placing items without the item frame

There should be a way to place items on the top, side, and bottom of blocks. Usually that would be done with a mod making item frames invisible, but it makes it hard to keep track of the frames. It also makes it annoying when you want to see a item frame.

    Another option would be to have another item frame recipe that uses glass.  It's visible when no item is in it (to keep them from getting lost), but would turn invisible when an item is placed inside.

    A possible recipe would be to replace the leather of a normal recipe with a glass pane.

    To make them more convenient for labeling chests with, how about items can't be rotated in these invisible item frames? (or maybe just if they're placed on an inventory?)

    Also have it so that when you click on the item you can either make the item flat or make it 3D like it would normally look. That would be nice if you wanna decorate a store with display items or you just wanna make your house look less bare.

    I think it would be nice if each Item had it's own 3D placed texture similar to the Placeable Items mod.

    Item frames should be invisible or at least be able to change the color of them based on type of wood used to make them. In bedrock I had a data pack that made them invisible, but it's out of date now. It was a great feature. I thought it was announced as a feature coming in 1.16?

    this does deserve more thought. I mean, this is one of the reasons why lots of people download mods and Addons. because they think the game itself is boring. Have you ever just wanted to place you pumpkin pie down? I have! Another idea is that witch huts spawn with placed bottles with this kind of update. It would definitely add to the witch theme of the hut! Although, there are problems with it. LDShadowLady demonstrates that in one of her videos, when she places down her bow due to a mod, fighting mobs. Just something I wanted to mention. This is very good for creative when you wanna make a house, and you’re into decorating. Same with survival. LOTS of players love decor, including myself. So I think this would be a very good update, but it’s the players fault if they place down their sword while fighting the wither because of this suggestion.

    Good idea! I have lots of problems when building because of this. At least items should be able to be placed on the top of a block.
