this is cool and I especially like the smelting enchantment; I saw a mod and it had this. The enchantment was called Blaze, which is a really good name. Also cool that it is a Treasure enchant.

It'd definitely need a more Minecraft-ey name, but I've been thinking about this for a few years, and I think I'm on board with. I'm not sure if being guaranteed that it smelts something is very balanced, as it eliminates the need for several mechanics of the game, such as different kinds of fuels and the different types of furnaces, however, if you made it a chance to smelt something depending on the level of the enchantment, it would be much more viable!

I'm also all for that pulling enchantment, though maybe it's better suited (pun not intended) for armour. After all, it's the character itself that is responsible for picking things up when you walk near them.

I propose that this enchantment could be called "infernal" and can only be applied to netherite pickaxes. I also feel that to balance it the ore would drop 4-6 nuggets which can be increased with fortune.

I like the idea, at first I though this could be unbalanced due you can use smelt and fortune, but I think this is what non-tecnical player need.

If players can build farms that produce thousands of gold and iron and only being AFK, would be good if there is also an option for mine huge amoungs of iron and gold with this enchantment.

This would be a great idea to add as a Piglins bartering treasure enchantment. Maybe it only applies to Netherite gear like Soul Speed does to Netherite Boots.

I thinking Smelting should work with fortune, and should NOT come in multiple levels. It also shouldn't be rare. It should be a normal enchantment from an enchantment table, just like Fortune is -- Fortune being very OP for when it first came out :) The function should be: instantly turns mined ore blocks into ingots. Possibly with a sizzle sound effect + smoke particles. It also can turn mined nether Gold into ingots.  Fortune multiplies the result as usual. It should be called Smelting :) kind of like Mending

I like the idea of this but added with fortune it becomes too OP, In my opinion it shouldnt be compatable with fortune.Different levels to mine different items I think would be interesting like level 3 for netherite and 1 for iron or somthing to that affect. I also have an idea since frost walker freezes water when you walk on it wouldnt it be cool if you could walk on lava and it turns to magma block?!?

This is a good idea and I don’t think it’s too overpowered when paired with fortune because players make iron golem or zombified piglin farms and no one says that’s overpowered or needs to be removed.
