This can be made with the shield and can knock off many enemies, this can be useful in closed areas but needs some timing to perform the parry, this also consume durability for each enemy succesfully knocked.

Imagine if u accidentally knocked ur dog over? imagine if it didn't get up and u needed it to kill a skeleton when u were at 1 heart?

I think there should be a feature to the shield where mobs smaller than a villager will be knocked over instantly. if you are moving with ur shield guarding u and ur  foe hits it then they will have a 50% chance of knocking over, this could be very useful when facing a ravager since the ravager is so square, has short legs and is supposedly heavy, it will have a harder time getting back up and it will be very vulnerable. Mobs that are the size of villagers, zombies, or wither skeletons should have a cooldown of 2 seconds before getting back up. Mobs like ravagers that are super bulky (including iron golems) should have a harder time getting up because of their weight and maybe 5 seconds before they get up. Flying mobs like phantoms and withers should fall on their back if they melee attack and at least 3 seconds before they get up because they are pretty big mobs. wolves should fall over for maybe 1 second because dogs in real life get up very fast when frightened when they are laying down. Slimes should be different because they are slimes, I think that they should have a 50% chance of sticking to ur shield and a 50% chance of bouncing off without damage taken at all. Physics in Minecraft would look very cool and add a lot more pizzazz to Minecraft.
