Passcode doors and chests

Add the ability to put passcodes on doors and chests so that random players cannot access your place and items simply by opening them. This would also tie in well with the land claim block.

    I don't know if a passcode system would be something I suggest, but I'd certainly- at the very least- support a locking system for doors and chests.

    Maybe once you lock a door, only you can unlock it but others cant, and it could be locked by crafting a key you only need to lock. Maybe this key, once the door is unlocked by the player, would return to their inventory until they wanted to lock again

    Additionally, there might could be some form of system where a key can be shared among users of a group or individuals selected by the owner, not sure..

    There’s a command that allows you to do that (in Java edition), in BE you can only hope your redstone contraption works XD

    I think the only thing that should be added is a /lock command to lock chests in BE.

    We can use redstone in survival and I like that!

    The land claim is a good idea, all claimed land could be stored in separate files and by typing /reset you'd be able to delete all non-claimed chunks.

    It's easy to do that with redstone and you can put people in gamemode a so they don't break it. But still kind of an interesting idea.

    I strongly believe that you should add locks as when you play with untrustworthy players to ensure protection to your items. I know that there is ender chests but you can't make a double chest and with locks on the doors we can just use ordinary chests. Thanks for listening.

    I believe there once was a command to do that to chest, now that doesn't work anymore. The way it worked was actually nice. You could only open it with any item with a specific name that you configured self. This is great for map making, as you basically can hide keys to chests. Would love to see that feature back.

    Why not build a combination lock? It's minecrafty it already exists and it's simple. All you need is some and gates

    And if they break the chest the chest should keep its contents instead of dropping them, and if the chest is destroyed it should transport the items into another chest that would spawn in the last place the original chest was in.
