When you are making your redstone suggestions, please note that Java and Bedrock will not have the exact same the same redstone systems - this would require redoing redstone system completely on one platform or the other. The two systems are functionally different and are going to stay that way. Please be sure to tag your suggestions with (Java) or (Bedrock).

We could probably have some kind of "switch" in the menus which enables or disables Quasi to minimize breakage of contraptions.

An Option before making a world that could turn quasi connectivity on or off

Or we could have a block that has the ability to do what quasi connectivity does, much like how we have the bud/observer block.

This has been on java for a while now and has been used for an extreme number of redstone builds, but for bedrock, it isn't a thing and so the bedrock redstone community misses out on alotof fun and useful creations

PolarMammoth but then it would need another block of space and I don't have that space in certain contraptions.

I think this is a great idea to be able to toggle quasi connectivity!

I totally agree with this. I’m completely open to a toggle between turning QC on and off, but there should definitely be some way to give pistons and like items QC in bedrock. Doing so would only add to the game and it would have no negatives. So ask yourself... Why not?

    Quasi connectivity is great

We need it because the bedrock redstone community is becoming old school because the lack of it

And faster redstone components so a piston can spit out its block with a 1 tick pulse and 0 tick pulse

I completely agree with this idea but instead of having to rightclick/shift, they should make it happen automatically when you join the world like in java edition

This is an addition to the blocks that already have quasi-connectivity on Java.

A command that doesn’t require cheats to activate which toggles it

Yes it could be a toggle like friendly fire or show coordinates on the world menu. I totally agree as a bedrock player I really want QC.

A gamerule which can be turned on and off from the world settings would make sense and would please everybody, as I'm not a fan of QC but would like people to stop mocking Bedrock redstone due to the lack of it. Also because of parity.

For those who don’t know, quasi-connectivity is a Java-only bug (not) which enables you to power blocks much more easily.

Here’s an example: you connect a lever and a stone block using redstone. On top of the stone block is a piston.

In Java, the piston would be activated because of quasi-connectivity, while nothing would happen in Bedrock.

Allow pistons to spit blocks out. I do not know much about the way redstone is coded between the two platforms, but if it is possible it should be added since it would help make more complex builds like piston doors

QC kinda sucks in my opinion. It's confusing, it breaks stuff and there are workarounds. I don't think java QC is the answer to your problems.

    What is Quasi connectivity.

I am stumped, even though I have been making Redstone for the last 3 years.

I play on Bedrock, is this only in Java?

I think that quasi-connectivity should be completely eliminated, but java and bedrock redstone should be worked, for example that redstone lines directly connect with pistons, observers, etc and at the same time load blocks indirectly as happens in java, With that, the quasi-connectivity is eliminated, replacing it with more minecraftly mechanics...

Not to be mean or anything, you have to rewrite Minecraft Bedrock’s redstone code for it to work I think. Great idea tho

Maybe that IS a good idea..
