Caves Update

Hi !

We spend a lot of times in caves in minecraft but they didn't get any new or exiting features since a long time, that's why I think a cave update is due !

Some ideas :

- Caves biomes of diferent types of caves depending on the biome it's generated into, for example : Ice caves, bats infested caves, lava caves, etc

- Stalagmite and Stalagtite in caves, should be blocky, maybe like cobblestone walls

- More mushroms in thsoe caves?

- Mobs spawning only in caves?

There is a lot that could be done so that just some ideas, also the nether is a big caves, so it could be updated at the same time !

    it would be cool to see an enchanted cave which is a massive cave with water pits and the water is purple 

    -bookshelves scattered around

    -chests with stuff to do with enchanting and brewing

    -witches naturally spawn inside.

    I haven't read all the 600+ comments that are already here, so I'm probably repeating a lot but here's what I would like to see (granted some of if not most of this is stolen from mods that already exist):

    - Stalagmite and Stalgtite: mentioned probably millions of times already

    - Cave Biomes: again mentioned a lot

    - Larger Caves: I'd LOVE to see Larger caves in general, not bigger cave systems but giving caves a larger diameter. One mod that really impressed me doing something like this was Worley's Caves Mod. I loved exploring much larger caves and coming across a massive area underground where a few different caves came together to create a giant empty, well cave xD.

    - Underwater Lakes/Flooded Caves: We already have caves that are flooded with water in ocean biomes, why not extend this to any biome? Make it a tad more rare to find a flooded cave and maybe if your lucky you'll find one of those massive empty cave sphere areas I was on a tangent about that just so happens to have an underground lake in it!

    - Dense Ores: I think this would be another good addition, after a while Mining just gets to be pretty monotonous and boring. Occasionally finding a dense ore inside a ore vein that'll reward you with 2-3 times the amount of ore for a single block could really spice up mining a bit, without breaking the style of Minecraft or having the need of adding more ores.

    it would be cool if there was redstone gear it would emit light while you walk throgh a really dark cavern you would craft it with redstone blocks

    hey, uhm i just wanna say someting that you might be interested in to add in minecraft cave system. first:like new ores that are harder to find ,second:new armor and tools add some pokemon mods to if you dont mind, ofcourse third add new mobs if there is new armor it needs bigger badder enemmies thank you thats my ideas sorry for the wrong spelling byeee

    I think nether caves sounds cool! I'm a FAN from turkey and I think there should be some new ores in those nether caves that will make minecraft a little bit more interesting!

    Can we get a Crystal Cave biome so you can get crystals that can be used as dye or can surround glowstone on the crafting grid to give you different colors of light (all light in Minecraft currently is white light).

    I would love new mineral blocks. Copper is my favorite idea. So much stuff is done with copper, maybe like, wires? I'm sure there are a lot of options for redstoners here.

    You should make more ores and more underground ruins, like abandoned bunkers. You should also make crystal caves, with new rare ores.

    May be hard to pull off: new gems like emeralds (rubies, sapphires, ect) and use them as biome specific villager currency (plains villages use emeralds, desert villages rubies, ect)

    caves should have more ores such as titanium ore or ruby or saphire ores that can craft the same as diamond but with more durabilty and attack damage
