    A new climbing animation would certainly be fun! But what do you mean by a crawling animation? Crawling isn't even a mechanic right now. Are you proposing Mojang add crawling to Minecraft? If so, then tell us why it is a good idea, how we would use it, etc.

    Definitely climbing, as it is rather bland at the moment... especially since they updated swimming. 
    As for crawling, it would have to be a clicked action, not a held-button action.

    However, what we really need is a sitting action.

    There should be a jumping animation! 

    And a riding animation! 

    And an animation for sneaking while blocking with a shield!

    Crawling makes sense because we can elytra and swim through 1-block gaps, so why not crawl? Jumping animations would be unneccesary.

    Just a sitting action would make the roleplaying aspect of the game much more fun. I think it could very easily be done with a /sit command. Since it's not a primary part of the gameplay i think limiting actions like these to a command would be nice

    I hope crawling isn’t going to keep that animation. In sand it works, but not on stone, netherrack, etc.

    Current crawling looks very poor, but climbing should stay the same, it's too distinct to change and would feel less Minecrafty. The swimming animation could definitely use some fixes, it seems so unnatural.

    I think that a sitting animation would be much aprecheated. Also a crawling animation probably would be nessesary.
    I'd like to see some exampels for a climbing animation as well.

    Since 1.14 now does have crawling, an actual animation for it is a good idea, since as of right now, it's just using the swimming animation. As for climbing (and I hate to reference this, but I'm going to anyway), the old player models for Roblox has a cool climbing animation that Mojang could take inspiration from

    their kinda is already a crawling animation, you engage it by flipping open a trapdoor so there is a 1 block gap between it and the ground, then you get in it by standing where it flips out and flip it out. (1.14 and above)

    climbing animation, hmm, i kinda like the fact that its just the stagnate player floating upwards, its kinda funny and gives minecraft a certain "i dont have fancy graphics but its still fun"

    I'd love for crawling to be added! I hate having to rely on glitches just to get through 1 block spaces. A climbing animation would be amazing as well. I also think a flying and sitting animation would be stunning as well. Sure would make things more dynamic.

    Honestly this sounds cool. A climbing animation for when you are on ladders or vines is an awesome Idea. Right now, we literally just stand  while going up and down, which I think should be replaced.

    For the crawling part,  that's practically useless,  because we already have sneaking, which allows you to go through one and a half tall spaces in the new 1.14 update. I don't think it's a good idea.😐
