A feedback for Bedrock Edition (Android and IOS) about Keyboard and Mouse Gameplay

Please add a full gameplay support for keyboard and mouse in Minecraft Bedrock Edition Android and IOS.

    Unfortunately, iPhones don't have mouse support. This would only work with Android 8.

    When will bedrock edition give support for assigning controls to mice with greater than 3 buttons? For example, I see there is now a 'Full Keyboard Gameplay' mode in the settings, but this mostly removes functionality from the mouse. But that mode also has a Cycle Item Left/Right option. It would be nice to assign these options or others to the 4th and 5th mouse buttons.

    This would be great of it does because if I connect my keyboard and mouse I can't walk forward nor jump and my mouse doesn't turn into the crosshair

    I need this, I play Minecraft with mouse and keyboard on my cell phone because I can't afford a computer, and it's horrible to have to click and hold the button to control the camera's view.

    I totally agree with this. Combat and building with the actual touch controls is quite tricky. And iPadOS 13 has mouse support now.

    I’m really hopeful to see this in Minecraft bedrock soon (maybe 1.16 ?) !

    With iPad OS now supporting trackpad support, the ability to connect a Bluetooth mouse and use your iPad keyboard would turn this version of Minecraft into a fantastic way to bring it with you on the go. This would be a fantastic addition

    It would be very useful to have the option of locking the mouse pointer with that cross it is horrible to move the screen even in combat it is horrible

    Minecraft for iOS could perhaps be altered to conform to Apple’s implementation of mouse and keyboard in iOS.

    Really good idea i was just gonna get a adapter and play minecraft and another idea is bluetooth keyboard should be niceto use in ios and android  :] please add

    It would be great if the people who put there time and money into one device such as a iPad or a android tablet would be able to use it as a replacement for the major inconvenience it is to lug two devices around and you could help by just adding that simple thing Called Keyboard and Mouse support into the gaming experience. This would make people such as me very happy and we most definitely play more if this feature were added. It would just make that uncomfortable switch from keyboard and mouse to touch irrelevant and it wouldn’t decrease the people’s Happiness and “fun time” experience. It would be great if y’all could make this dream many have had a reality. Thank you for your time.

    APIs in iOS 14 now allow game developers to use keyboard and mouse for input in games. This would be amazing for iPads considering how powerful they are.

    We kinda need keyboard and mouse support, because it is very annoying to have to click and drag on the screen with the mouse. Please give us this Mojave, as it has been done before by 3rd party vendors. It is simple, and lots of peeps would enjoy it.

    Why has this not been added yet? This would be very useful to mobile users and mobile users won't complain about being killed by pc sweats on servers.

    Adding my voice to as many of these threads as I can. Keyboard and mouse support on iPad is clearly a very desperately needed feature for many. Especially since the iPad, as a platform, is becoming more like a "normal" computer every day. Apple has enhanced keyboard and mouse support on the platform; I hope that has opened the door for Microsoft/Mojang to add this VERY in-demand feature to the Bedrock edition.

    This could easily work for android, as it has a mouse capturing feature that could help improve mouse gameplay.

    iOS has since updated their API to allow for mouse/keyboard controls in games, so there are currently no platform limitations keeping this bug (MCPE-51263) from getting resolved. Until then, I don’t have much reason to play the game since I can’t use my preferred input method. I’ll also point out that the menu options for keyboard/mouse are visible in the settings and have no indication that none of those features are functional.

    Very disappointed that this isn’t working. Not being able to use keyboard and mouse (or: Apple Magic Keyboard) makes this game unplayable on the iPad imo. Please fix this, it shouldn’t be too hard as other games figured out how to do it as well.

    Yeah it's good idea
    I play on Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE in Minecraft Pocket Edition (Bedrock) and use a special adapter to connect a keyboard and a gaming mouse. And if you connect a gaming mouse, then for some reason, when the blocks are destroyed, it turns out that the phone vibrates. As with the activated "Destroy Block (vibrate)" function in the "Touch" section. And that to, please add you the "Destroy Block (vibrate)" function to the "Keyboard & Mouse" section. And that this item can be turned off. Because it's really inconvenient. Thank you very much if you add this setting.
