What is parity? This category is designed just for features that exist but work one way on one platform, and another way on a different platform. Bugs are not parity! Please read the intro post before you post!

That's not quasi-connectivity related so it must be added for Java parity

A compromise, spit out gem blocks, instead of regular blocks, to get a one tick pulse.

That makes a needlessly complex system instead of making pistons not pull blocks when receiving one tick pulses.

I have been led to believe that Piston Spitouts are not a bug, both from reading in an old Redstone tips book from 1.7 saying that the spitouts are important for making T flip-flops and hearing that Mojang did this to stop sand duplication (unconfirmed).

Why not make the java sticky piston act like bedrock's and add a new piston type to replace the function?

Spiked Pistons would act in the same way Java Sticky Pistons do when activated by one-tick pulses, but without the need for a one-tick pulse. This would allow for consistency, following the same design philosophy as the observer's.

Id preffer in this case to have the normal piston (as usual), the actual sticky piston work as in java, and a 3rd piston super sticky (crafted with piston and slime block) that does not drop block in any way (like actual bedrock sticky)

Block dropping is so extremely useful, its a must have of most jaav contraptions, and would allow for SOOO many new things to happen on bedrock edition, we need this.
