I was thinking of adding volcanos and other natural disasters, it would be really cool if you would!

no, most of the comment suggestions are bad ideas. A meteorite would have to be extremely uncommon and the chance that it would hit your house would be almost impossible. Plus, what function and fun does it add to the game? Handing you free diamonds? That's basically creative mode.
A volcano is actually a good idea, but all trees around it would have to generate as already burned (maybe a charcoal block?) So it doesn't burn down your entire forest and crash your game.
A tsunami would be really hard to implement with the way Minecraft's water physics work, but it might be cool if water gets much harder to swim or boat through when it's stormy.
tornadoes could potentially work if it only could affect certain blocks like break crops, turn grass to dirt blocks, and open doors and gates. Instead of a tornado, this could make more sense as just a "windy storm".Personally I think casting an unknown spell for should have the chance as a side effect to have a natural disaster result so it's player caused. The spell idea refers to maybe getting magic wands and spells in the future, to do unique things.
I could understand that it would be very gruesome to have your perfect building suddenly get touches from the hands of nature, but in the real world people make their infrastructure to adapt to it. High rises are made to sway with the ground or the wind instead of crack and fall to the ground. Some people who live in rivers or swamps have stilts that rise above the surface of the water, so that they do not have a swimming pool of a house when water rises from rainfall. Some people have very sloped roofs so that snow does not stick on, pile up, and crush it. Do I have to mention Venice? You see, people deal with the facts of life, but they also embrace it, think of it.
I don't believe we will ever see this idea see the light of day. Disasters do not fit their vision of what makes minecraft, minecraft. It has already been stated that nothing will be added that can ruin a player's builds or fun beyond their own control. Lightning strikes were added before these guys took over, hence why they are now adding lightning rods so that you can avoid them. I think you guys will have to stick with mods on this one.
I just thought of this same idea, and just saw that you also posted this idea. I think that they should also make it as an option. For example, say you want to make a survival world but you don't want natural disasters in it, well there should be an option called "Natural Disasters" where you can enable or disable it. So that you can just disable it before making the world, and then when you have created the world you wouldn't have to worry about having a natural disaster.
Edit: If you have the original Minecraft Java Edition, there are community-made mods out there where you can have Natural Disasters in your world.
I've been thinking about this a ton lately! All this amazing (way to go Devs!) mountain generation has me wishing one of them had the capacity to blow its top. Maybe there could be directional tremors periodically leading up to an eruption, or smoke rising one in-game day before the eruption? No matter how it's announced, the mountain blows its lid and lava and basalt rain down everywhere for tens of chunks. It would give you just enough time to gather what you can't live without and bolt if you were foolish enough to build near one.
i love this idea it would be so cool to see volcanic eruptions with huge pyroclastic flows devastate entire biomes trying them into a volcanic wasteland but after a few in game years it would flourish and maybe we could have different villages with towers so they could be destroyed along with meteors that could be small and only leave a block in a small crater with some fire to ones that could wreck entire biomes of course you could change the setting of these events in the menu so people who like their builds can keep them
