This is by far one of the best “shark solutions” I’ve seen so far! I love it!

They voted no sharks, but I love this idea it would be great to have in the game.

This would fill a huge hole in the oceans. I would hope they'd be super agressive and dangerous

I agree. The oceans don't have that much hostile mobs in them not counting ones that spawn in caves that have air pockets in them.

Cool mob idea and also very happy about how you pointed out sharks. They are not what we think.

    Re: Drops

It could drop scales, which, can be used to make armor like iron/gold/diamond.

This armor would inherently prevent the wearer from taking thorn damage both from the enchantment and from bushes.

Scale armor rating could be between iron and diamond.

Someone wrote an article about something somewhat similar, https://feedback.minecraft.net/hc/en-us/community/posts/360077065552-New-mob-idea-The-Agoran
It seems a little like a youngling of Axodile, or a related species that are less aggressive and smaller, maybe some followers of Axodile could look at it? Also Axoladdy, maybe do a collab with the autor of Arogan, in my opinion Axodile&Arogan would be a great duo to come to Minecraft.
Maybe they could even have somewhat symbiotic relationship?

Hey so im the creator of the Agoran which is strangely really similar to the Axodile I believe it can be a thing where they live with each other somewhat kind of the pigling's and the hogling's. Also the new Idea of improving the kelp forest's for their habbitat also if you want i can help spread the word of the axodile and the agoran by creating the mod in minecraft, all what i can say is that it would be cool to have these two in the oceans New mob idea: The Agoran – Minecraft Feedback

I love this idea so you got my vote but think of giving it a predator such as seal like pack monsters to give its shell a use.

Maybe it's shell hitbox would be invincible, or at least have a lot of armor in that area.

This sounds awesome, but it really does need something that makes it worth fighting, otherwise it will be like the elder guardian, which I just realized is not at all worth fighting.
